BURLINGTON, ON – Darcy Curran, Senior Vice-President, Wolseley Canada, recently announced the launch of Wolseley Industrial, a division of Wolseley Canada.
This new division includes Meridian, the company’s valve, valve actuation, pipe, fittings and flange business, and its Engineered Pipe Group, which provides total solutions for all high density polyethylene projects. Over 2014, both the Meridian and EPG brands will be retired and roll up under the Wolseley Industrial name.
Bryn Murray has been promoted to the role of Vice-President of this new division and is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the Canadian industrial business unit, including pipe, valve, and fittings distribution as well as industrial services activities. Murray joined Meridian in May 2003 and has held the progressively senior roles of Regional Manager, Business Alignment Manager and National Sales Manager before serving in his most recent role of General Manager of Meridian from 2008 to 2013.
